I, Kimberly Benfield of KBUX, am committed to maintaining an inclusive and accessible website for all visitors. My goal is to provide an experience that is usable with a wide range of technologies, including assistive technologies. I follow established accessibility best practices and build my site in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Current accessibility status

My website is largely conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. I conduct regular audits, address issues as they arise, and continuously refine the site to maintain and improve accessibility over time.

Use of complex graphics

Certain portfolio materials include complex graphics, such as process screenshots or annotated visual examples. When a graphic cannot be made fully accessible without altering its meaning, I provide an accessible alternative—such as descriptive text, transcripts, or supplemental explanations—to ensure the information remains available to all users.

Limitations & ongoing efforts

While I strive for full accessibility, some third-party plugins, embeds, or external tools may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. I review these integrations periodically and work to select or configure solutions that maintain a high level of accessibility.

Supported browsers & technologies

My site is designed to work with modern browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Performance may be affected on browsers older than three major versions. I rely on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure accessibility.
